Luke's Beef Bolognese

Ingredients: 

500g grass-fed organic beef mince 
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 
1 brown onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, finely chopped
6 sticks of celery, finely chopped
1 tablespoon tomato paste 
1 tin baby cherry tomatoes 
500ml tomato passata 
4 heaped tablespoons of BOTB Bone broth Organic Italian herbs and Garlic 
Bunch of fresh basil, to garnish 

Method:

In a large high rimmed, non-stick eco-friendly fry-pan over medium-high heat, add a splash of olive oil, and add the onion, carrot and celery and cook down for 3-4 minutes until softened and caramelised. 

Add in the beef mince, and using a wooden spoon or silicone spatula, break the mince down, getting it brown on all sides. 

Add in the tomato paste, tinned cherry tomatoes and pasata and reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook, simmering for 10-12 minutes until the sauce reduces down and becomes lovely and thick. This is a good time to add your Best of the Bone Organic Italian herbs and Garlic Bone broth concentrate. Stir it in until it dissolves down, adding a delicious traditional Italian flavour.

This Bone Broth Bolognese can be served with your favourite pasta, roast vegetables or rice, garnish with some fresh basil and you’re god to go!
